at work today, between a leisurely lunch and the strenuous task of trying on each shoe of our new shipment, i received a phone call. it was my mother, with some extremely exciting news.

apparently we have a reader in saudi arabia!

to be perfectly honest, i generally dislike web trackers like sitemeter. i write on here because it's fun and it allows me to keep in touch with my family - especially miss lauren, or as the native americans and i like to call her, She Who Does Not Post.

since our first upsurge in traffic after the creation of madpony, i have paid little to no attention to our number of daily visits. basically, i use our tracker to find good, new blogs in the referrals - that is, good, new blogs who like us. :D :D

however, i had no idea sitemeter was so multifaceted until my mother discovered its many wonders. since then, i have received phone calls, voicemails, and email after email from both of my parents informing me of madpony readers across the globe.
