Hey ~

I was just wondering what kind of make up you and your sister wear, you both always look so beautiful! Also, what shades of lipstick do you wear? I have dark hair like yours and i can never find anything that looks good on me and doesn't make me look like a clown. Thanks for your help! Your site is AWESOME!

oh, erica. e-mail like this just goes straight to my head. i think i'll pretend i'm famous for awhile now, at least until shelby comes home and yells at me for getting peanut butter cookie crumbs all over our freshly-vacuumed floor. there's nothing quite like an angry roommate to put your life back into perspective.

i would love to help you out with the makeup question, but i am really not the girl to be asking. my general beauty routine consists of waking up 6.45 minutes before class, which gives me just enough time to brush my teeth, buy a coke, and make it to lecture on time. every time i've had a significant amount of makeup on my face, it was probably applied painstakingly by lauren. she is definitely our resident makeup expert/queen/goddess, so hopefully she'll get back to you on her full range of beauty products in the comments.

the lipstick i generally wear, if wearing lipstick, is clinique's whimsy. i actually managed to pick it out all by myself, which just goes to show that miracles do happen.

thanks for making me feel special,

kristin

Hey cool site. Never seen that many pictures in a row of two people lying on a bed. Your site definately has a strong diet coke theme, together with the "I'm at college and things feel funny" theme. Right, questions: What is your favorite type of cheese? How's France? I don't have a blog site, just some journal I made from when I was in Korea:

Oklahoma sounds like a nice warm place, I'm up here freezing to death in Canada (yep, people actually live here, not just eskimos and polar bears).
---
well hi there christopher, my canadian friend!
lots of dead people are in here! yay!
i'm not much of a cheese person myself, and france was pretty fantastic. i put some pictures of it in a photo essay, but here's an extra picture of casey and i in front of something famous, just for fun. ok, because my digital camera is out of batteries. moving on.

so, canada. i've actually been there once before and personally verified that there are people living up there, tucked away someplace in the hills. honestly, canada was really pretty. lots of fresh air and wide open spaces. and lots of french speaking people and weird money. you crazy canadians!

seriously, christopher. i used to tease this girl in my sorority all the time for no other reason except that she is from canada. "canada," i called her. i had to quit, partly because her parents moved to indonesia, and partly because my mom informed me that lauren and i had a canadian great grandmother. i guess that makes me one of you, eh? can you be canadian and not like hockey..eh?

you're right about oklahoma though, it has been a nice warm place as of late. you know, i've started to have a bit more respect for my state lately. "okie pride" i call it. as dan pointed out, we invented the dust bowl. we may not have invented cockfighting, but i'm pretty sure ours is the only state where the lovely sport is still a-ok! most importantly, we apparently invented the parking meter. no, seriously! and i think us bringing that super invention into the world, despite the "vigilantes from alabama and texas [who] attempted to destroy the meters en masse" makes us just a head above the other 49. yay oklahoma!

oklahoma is cool but canadians rule,

If anyone ever complains to you about how the wheels of justice have ground to a halt in the federal appellate courts, you can just say "Oh, that's all my fault. I introduced Lane to Bounce Out." To say that it is as addictive as crack is to give crack too much credit.

---
you know lane, you're right.

i tried to leave bounce out for good old minesweeper, but i realized the other day that i'm just lying to myself. i opened the downloaded version on lauren's computer over the weekend and managed to spend no less than two hours on one game. i finally gave up around 12:30 pm, and entered the hall of fame with a score somewhere in the millions, completely crushing lauren's record. ah, the small victories in life.

pete thinks i've been spending too much time on the computer. i say, bounce out has consumed my soul.

someone help me please,
