ewww don't ever make this face.
check out those charming little dark circles under my eyes.

too much studying, not enough sleep?

a little eye makeup out of control?

oh no. that, my friends, is where finals week punched me in the face.

really, it hasn't been that traumatic so far. the real challenges will come next tuesday and wednesday with history and spanish. especially spanish. no me gusta la clase de espanol. no hablo bien. no idea if that's correct. that final could be a real disaster. thank goodness it's the last one i have. my final final, if you will. and double thank goodness that it doesn't fall on friday, otherwise known as Kristin's Birthday. 8 days to go. i know, i'm excited too.

but before the finals, even before the weekend, i have one last beast which must be tamed.

the collage for understanding art.

not that i'm particularly stressing about this.

to the right, in front of my lovely flowers (thanks mom) and the lovely faces of tia and/or tamera (jennie is unaware of tv channels not disney), you'll find my last attempt at the understanding art collage. perhaps you can't quite see that my lovely creation is composed entirely of similarly-sized rectangles. however, i'm pretty sure you can see both the pools of dried glue glistening throughout my work and the amount of time i painstakingly invested in its beautiful design.

shelby tried to dispose of it three times before i finally convinced her that, yes, this *was* in fact an assignment. for class. yes, college-class.

i call it - dog of squares with glueand just think. one pack of construction paper, one pair of scissors, an extra-large jar of something sticky like glue only shinier, and five minutes of my time turned in two weeks after the due date equals three points added to my final grade.

no, not the grade of my final. my final grade in the class.

this is the same class i will receive an additional point added to my grade for simply showing up in class last wednesday. and this friday.

i heart freshman level classes.

so anyway, now that i have this brilliant masterpiece safely back in my possession, i've been thinking. certainly a work like this, worthy of three points added to my final grade, cannot just fester and rot in the sorority dumpster. what a tragic waste! what a devastating loss to the art community and the world as a whole! i was thinking of choosing a nice frame, perhaps passing my great gift on to someone else in christmas present form. but i'm not sure. i mean, why give this masterpiece away when it could so obviously fetch a hefty sum from someone who truly appreciates great art?

so what do you think. ebay, anyone?
